2011
Editor's Note: You know how as your kids get older you end up taking less pictures of them? Well, that's what's happening here. And, again, my thanks to Jeff Sweet for his picture contributions. |
Winter fun!
Bogie really does love the snow. Just look at him romping in it early in the year. But, at one point, we may have got a little more snow than Bogie knew what to do with.

Bogie is not quite sure what to do with all this snow. But, as you can see in the picture on the left, he does like to bury his nose in it. |
Door County
This year's trip was more fun in the sun, sand and water. Ya just can't beat it, from Bogie's perspective.

Much to Bogie's mom's chagrin, Bogie likes digging in a little to get a cool spot in the dirt. Here, he tried it in the sand. Looks comfy.
And, at one point, Bogie switched around a bit and played the bully by pushing sand in Wrigley's face.
See how comfortable a sand bed can be!
I just love these sand pictures and couldn't make up my mind which to show off. So, I guess you get to see all of them.

This is what happens when you get caught napping in beautiful, dappled sunlight; your friends try to bury you in the sand. Bogie's friend Trevor decided this would be fun. Bogie's mom limited the effort to just Bogie's legs.
Wrigley's and Bogie's moms wear out the Wrigley and Bogie by making them run back and forth from the shore and sand bar. By the end of the day, they barely looked at the lake they were so tired.
The water is crystal clear when you're on the sand bar out in the lake. |
How can anybody resist such a cute face.
Wrigley looks like he's on the prowl.
Just running around, sans collar, enjoying the sunshine. |
Mommy had cooking duty one night and Bogie's not allowed in the cabin. Bogie never likes his mommy to be out of his sight or too far away.
Hair Cut Time!
Bogie gets about four-five haircuts a year. He's none too happy about any of them. Afterwards, however, he gets real excited when you tell him how handsome he is. Jeff captured this one.

Another day at the office?
Not really. Mom is working but we're doing what we do best: being pack animals. But, when she walks into the kitchen, we pay attention.
